Our Beginning
In 2012, Proveedoras Unidas Association was born at the initiative of Carmen Hernandez due to her own experience as a family day care provider.
Proveedoras Unidas Association is a mutual support group in the non-profit child care industry. We started with 10 providers. We have then trippled in size.
Our Mission
Proveedoras Unidas Association allows child care owners to meet other providers in order to exchange ideas and experiences. This group allows us to have orientation and keep updated information that helps us offer children and their families better services. This group is a learning tool in providing a safe, natural, and social environment for children
Our Goal
The goal of Proveedoras Unidas Association is that through our organization the work we are doing as early childhood educators in day care centers is recognized. Our goal is to grow the group of providers in order to get resources that support education for offering quality care to families in the Milwaukee community.
